Junk Removal in North Vancouver

North Vancouver Junk Removal has hauled junk from North Vancouver homes since 2009 — we live here, our truck is based here, and we cover every neighbourhood from Lower Lonsdale to Deep Cove. Junk removal in North Vancouver costs $80–$100 for a single item, $320–$400 for a half truck, and $560–$700 for a full 15-cubic-yard load, with labour, disposal, and recycling fees included and GST the only addition. Curbside pickups are 20% off, and every price is published before you call: see the complete North Vancouver price list and cost calculator.

We Cover All of North Vancouver

Both the City and the District — if your address says North Vancouver, we come to you.

Lonsdale (Lower, Central & Upper). Condo and apartment country. If you can bring items to your building's loading bay or lane, you pay our curbside rate — 20% off — and you don't need to book the elevator or be home. Removing from inside a suite works too; we handle the strata check-in, with a 20% in-suite addition to the item price.

Lynn Valley, Westlynn & Boulevard. Family homes with full basements and garages that haven't been opened since the last move. This is classic half-truck and full-truck territory — $320–$400 curbside gets a garage back.

Deep Cove, Dollarton, Blueridge & the Seymour area. This is our home turf — our truck is based on Roslyn Blvd — so eastern North Vancouver often gets our fastest response, including same-day pickups. More on our dedicated Deep Cove junk removal page.

Edgemont, Delbrook, Pemberton Heights, Capilano & Norgate. Steep driveways and long carries are normal on the North Shore's slopes; they're built into how we quote, not sprung on you afterwards. Send a photo of the access and the price you get is the price you pay.

Grand Boulevard, Queensbury, Calverhall, Moodyville & everywhere between. Ten minutes from Lonsdale Quay to almost anywhere we serve — which is how we keep 2-hour arrival windows honest.

Hauling It Yourself vs. Calling Us

Fair question — the North Shore Recycling & Waste Centre takes residential drop-offs, and for a single carload of yard waste, doing it yourself makes sense. Here's the honest math for bulky junk:

Doing it yourself means borrowing or renting a truck, loading it (couches and mattresses fight back on stairs), driving to the transfer station, queueing (can be 5 min or 55 min long) , unloading into the correct bins, and paying the disposal charges — minimum fees apply even for small loads, and mattresses carry their own recycling fee per piece Most people spend half a day and more money than they expected.

Calling us means texting a photo, getting a firm price, and pointing at things. Our price already contains the tipping fees, the mattress recycling fees, the truck, the fuel, and the two people who carry it all — which is why a $90 curbside mattress or a $320 curbside half-load usually beats the DIY trip once your time counts for anything.

We sort every load before it leaves: usable furniture to local charities, mattresses to the North Shore's mattress recycler, metal and electronics to recycling, and only the true junk to the transfer station. Details on where your junk actually goes.

North Vancouver Questions, Answered

How much does junk removal cost in North Vancouver? Between $80 and $700 for almost every residential job. Common single items: mattress or box spring $90/$110, couch $95/$120, loveseat $80/$100, sectional $130/$160, fridge or freezer $75/$95, washer or dryer $75/$95 each ($105/$130 for the pair), dishwasher $65/$80, dresser $70–$95 curbside or $90–$120 in-home, dining table $80–$95 curbside or $100–$120 in-home, and TVs from $40. For mixed piles, a quarter truck is $200 curbside or $250 in-home, a half truck is $320/$400, a three-quarter truck is $400/$500, and a full 15-cubic-yard truck is $560/$700. All prices include labour, disposal, and recycling fees; GST is the only extra. Curbside pickup takes 20% off everything. The full price list covers 100+ items.

Do you serve both the City and the District of North Vancouver? Yes — both, at the same prices. Lower Lonsdale towers, Lynn Valley family homes, Deep Cove cabins: one price list.

How soon can you pick up junk in North Vancouver? Most bookings need about 1–2 business days' notice, so texting a photo a day or two ahead is the safest bet if you have a deadline. That said, we're based in North Vancouver and same-day pickups do happen when the schedule allows — text a photo to 604-910-7549 and we'll tell you honestly whether today or tomorrow is possible, rather than promise something we can't deliver.

Do you take junk from condos and apartments? Yes. From inside a suite, item prices add 20% for the building logistics — parking, check-in, elevators, hallways. If you bring items to the loading bay, lane, or curb, you pay 20% less than the standard price instead. Either way, we're familiar with North Vancouver strata rules and elevator bookings.

Do I have to be home for the pickup? Not for curbside jobs. Leave the items in the driveway, lane, or yard within about 10 feet of where the truck can park, and pay online after we've picked up.

Where does the junk go? Sorted, always: donations to local charities first, mattresses and appliances to recycling, and only the remainder to the North Shore transfer station. We handle all fees and paperwork — they're already in your price.
