Junk Removal in Deep Cove
North Vancouver Junk Removal is based in the Cove — our truck is parked on Roslyn Blvd, a few minutes from Gallant Avenue — which makes Deep Cove, Cove Cliff, Dollarton, Raven Woods and the Parkgate area our fastest response zone. Prices are the same as everywhere in North Vancouver: single items from $80 curbside or $100 in-home, a half truck of mixed junk $320–$400, a full 15-yard load $560–$700, everything including disposal and recycling fees. Text a photo to 604-910-7549 and you will get a response with a quote and a date/time booking proposal. See All Prices
The Junk Truck That Lives Here
Since 2009, this has been a Deep Cove business, not a company that visits Deep Cove. That changes small things that turn out to be big things. We know that Panorama Drive parking is a contact sport, so we plan where the truck goes before we arrive. We know a summer Saturday in the village means the Quarry Rock crowd has taken every spot from the arm to the dock — so we'll suggest a weekday morning and save you the circus. We know which lanes a 15-yard truck fits down and which ones it very much does not.
And because we live here, we answer for the work at the general store, not through a call centre. That's the whole quality-control system, and it's worked for seventeen years.
Deep Cove Junk Is Its Own Category
Deep Cove Junk Is Its Own Category
Cove homes collect a particular kind of clutter, and we've hauled all of it:
The cottage cleanout. A lot of Deep Cove houses started life as summer cabins, and character homes hold character quantities of stuff — decades of it, in attics, under stairs, in the shed behind the shed. We do these at whatever pace suits, one load or several.
The crawl space and the damp basement. We live in a rainforest; things stored under older Cove houses don't age gracefully. Mildewed carpets, swollen furniture, boxes that lost the fight with the moisture — out, sorted, gone.
The gear pile. Kayaks with hulls past patching ($95 curbside), paddleboards, wetsuits that outlived their zippers, ski gear from seasons past, bikes, dock boxes, crab traps. If it once touched the Arm or the mountain and now just takes up wall space, we take it. Small watercraft beyond kayaks and canoes: text a photo for a quick quote.
The deck and garden set. Cedar-weathered patio furniture ($20–$120 a piece), tired BBQs ($80–$110), planters, the wheelbarrow with the flat tire, the lawn mower that lost its spark ($80).
| Cove favourites | Curbside | In-Home |
|---|---|---|
| Kayak or canoe | $95 | $120 |
| BBQ (small / large) | $65 / $90 | $80 / $110 |
| Patio table | $70 | $90 |
| Mattress or box spring | $90 | $110 |
| Half truck — the shed special | $320 | $400 |
Everything else is on the full price list — over 100 items, all including disposal and recycling fees, GST the only extra.
Junk Removal That Respects the Cove
Nobody here needs a lecture about why the water and the forest matter — it's why we all live here. So we'll just say what we do: every load gets sorted before it leaves. Furniture with life left goes to local charities. Metal, mattresses, electronics, and appliances go to recycling. Only the genuine leftovers go to the transfer station, fees included in your price. Nothing we collect will ever turn up at a trailhead or down a bank — and if you've spotted dumped junk on public land, the District's report line deals with it; if it's on your land, that's a job we've handled more than once.
More on the sorting: where your junk actually goes.
Deep Cove Questions, Answered
How fast can you pick up junk in Deep Cove? Faster than anywhere else we serve — we're based on Roslyn Blvd. Same-day is often possible; text 604-910-7549 and we'll tell you honestly.
Do you cover Cove Cliff, Dollarton, Raven Woods, Blueridge and Parkgate? All of them at standard North Vancouver prices — that whole corner of the Seymour area is home ground.
Can you get a truck down my street? Almost certainly — and if your lane is one of the tight ones near the water, we know it, and we'll plan the carry accordingly. Long carries beyond about 100 feet or more than two flights of stairs are the only things that can add labour, always agreed before we start.
Do you take kayaks, paddleboards, and water gear? Happily. Kayaks and canoes are $95 curbside or $120 in-home; boards and gear are less. It all goes to recycling or donation where possible.
Should I avoid summer weekends? For village addresses, honestly, yes — weekday mornings are calmer for everyone, us included. For homes up the hill it matters less. We'll steer you to the easiest window when you book.
What does junk removal cost in Deep Cove? Same as all of North Vancouver: from $80 for a curbside single item to $700 for a full 15-yard truck loaded from inside your home, disposal and recycling included. The price list has every number.
